Chalkboard Stand

Hi Everyone!!  I have another project I created!!  Yay!!  I am having so much fun creating these cute projects!!   This one was created using the DCWV All Chalked Up paper collection (for the chalkboard).  I also used the DCWV Le Tres Chic paper stack on the top and sides.  It measures approx. 5 1/2 inches wide and 9 1/2 inches tall.  I used I Am Roses for the flowers, Martha Stewart leaf bunch (I use this punch on everything, I just love it :), and trims I found at Walmart for this project.  I first started off by adhering the chalkboard to the chipboard, then the design paper to the top of the chalkboard.  I fussy cut the dress form from the design paper.  I have pearls adhered to the sides to hold it from opening to far.  The back is also made from chalkboard so it to can be used to write on.  The flower trim at the bottom also has pink pearls adhered to them.  The top is decorated with the on the edge die by Tim Holtz called Ornate.  I left this message for my husband this morning :)  It also wipes away easily with just a plain paper towel.  If you have any questions please let me know.  I was inspired to make this project by Bona on YouTube.  She is known as LiveLoveScrap on YouTube.  Video coming up shortly!!  Thanks for looking and have a great day!!

3D Box Card with Miss Anya Bags

Hi Everyone!!  Hope everyone is doing well!!  I have another project to share with you!!  I created this 3D box card with the Lost & Found, Madison Avenue paper collection.  I drew the house image out of a scrap piece of paper then traced it onto the design paper.  I added flower trim and topped it with white mini pearls.  I also added a butterfly by Martha Stewart and created the rose with a 5 petal punch from EK Sucess.  I used the MFT die cut Prima Donna Petal die to create the pink flower, I then added the leaf punch by Martha Stewart to add the finishing touch.  I colored Miss Anya Bags with my spectrum noir markers (still learning how to color, but I did learn that it best to stamp the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink instead of Colorbok pigment ink, IMO) and paper pieced her outfit, purse and hair bows.  I also added Recollections pearls to her ears for earrings.  In the background, I added layer of the design paper with the Spellbinders Nestabilities die.  If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for looking!!  I will probably make a video of this in the next week if you are interested in watching it.  Hope you all have a great day!!

Here is the video!! (as promised)

T-Shirt Mini Album & Altered Box

Hi Everyone!!  I have another project I created using the 6 x 6 paper pad by C'est La Vie (Melissa Frances) paper collection.  I used the Sizzix "Baby Onesie" die but only used the back part to give it that T-shirt look.  I always try to figure out new ways I can use die cuts when I purchase them so I can get good use of them, as some of them are kind of expensive.  I first started with chipboard and adhered the design paper, along with many embellishments including, Recollections flowers, I Am Roses, Martha Stewart, Making Memories metal signs, Prima Pearls, laces and trims.  I bound it with hair bands (yes hair bands lol) and tied pink satin ribbon to hold them together.  If you have never tried hair bands you should, they have just enough of stretch to add embellishments, but also keep it from flopping all over the place.  They also come in all colors and are really cheap!!  I also created a box for the mini album to rest in.  It was created with Recollections card stock in blue.  The top of the box is heavily embellished using I Am Roses for the flowers and ribbon trim I purchased at Hobby Lobby.  I also fussy cut several images from the design paper and used Spellbinders for some of the layering.  I had so much fun creating this project!!  It is for sale on my Etsy shop, if you are interested please click the following link:  http://www.etsy.com/shop/tara48?ref=si_shop I have also attached a video at the bottom if you are interested in looking.  Thanks so much for looking and have a great day!!

Journal Book

Hi everyone!!  I created a new journal book!!  I used the Lost & Found Market Street paper collection.  I also used The Cinch that I purchased at Hobby Lobby to bound it with.  I used my computer to make the pages inside.  The front is created by first starting with chip board with the paper collection adhered to the top of it.  I then used Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Nine.  I adhered Miss Anya Bags stamp collection to the top of the nestabilities.  I used I Am Roses cherry blossoms, recollections flowers, and a Martha Stewart leaf punch to decorate the corners.  I tied a bow and adhered some trim and beads for that finishing touch.  I bought the beads and trim at Hobby Lobby.  I also had a flower left from the trim and adhered it to Anya's hair.   I also added bling for her earrings.  I paper pieced her outfit and colored her skin and hair with my Spectrum Noir markers.  Everything was distressed with the Frayed Burlap distressing ink by Ranger (Tim Holtz).  I really enjoyed making this project.  I know it will surely be used!!  Thanks for looking and if you have any questions please ask.  Thanks and have a great day!!  :)

Marci Tags

Hi Everyone!!  Hope you all are doing great!!  I have another project to share with you!!  I love coloring these stamps so much (I'm sure you can tell lol!)  I used the Spellbinders Nestabilities to create both of these.  Kitty Kat Marci (yellow) was created using the Lacy Square nestabilities and the Botanical Paper Collection by Prima.  Both were colored using Spectrum Noir markers and the fence was made by cutting out strips of cardstock and adhering them together.  I used my scissors for cutting out the cardstock.  I used a fiskars punch to point the top of the fence.  The flowers were created by using the Sizzix flowers 3D die on both tags.

Marci with cat (pink) was created by laying Recollections card stock white, pink, and using the Butterfly Garden paper collection by Pink Paislee.  The Martha Stewart butterfly punch was used in creating the butterfly.  I also used bling found at Walmart for their earrings.    Ribbon was also tied at the top of each tag so that I can tie it to a gift bag when giving a gift.  Hope you enjoy them.  Thanks for looking!!

3D Box Card and One Regular Cards

Hi Everyone!!  I wanted to share a couple of projects I created.

The card was created by using Kraft cardstock paper layered with Le Tres Chic by DCWV and Love Letters by Recollection.  I used the Spellbinders Lacey Ovals to cut out the frame behind Marci.  I colored Marci by using my Spectrum Noir pens.  The Eiffel Tower was cut from the MFT die cut.  The stamp collection used for the Purr-fect was by The Pink Stamper.  Martha Stewart border punch, Prima Pearls, and I Am Roses were used to finished off the project.  The name of the stamp set I used with Marci was called Marci with Cat.

The 3D Box Card was created by using the Linen Closet paper collection by DCWV and Portobello Road by Lost & Found.  I started by using Kraft Cardstock and then layering the Linen Closet paper.  I used the Portobello Road paper to created a small picture above Anya's head.  The stamp set used was by the Greeting Farm Sitting Cute.  I paper pieced Anya's outfit and couch and colored the rest of her with my Spectrum Noir pens. The flowers that were used are from Sizzix die cut flowers 3D.  The small leaves around the flowers are an Martha Stewart leaf punch.  The frame of the box was cut using the Spellbinders die Labels Nine.

If you have any questions please let me know.  Thanks for looking!!

La La Land Craft Card - Marci

Hi Everyone!!  I just created another project I would like to share with you.  This card was created using the Girls Live to Rock by The Paper Studio paper collection.  I used I Am Roses for the flowers, Martha Stewart border and leaf punch, flourish #10 sizzix die cut, and the stamp set by Inkadinkadoo.  I colored up Marci using my Spectrum Noir pens.  I first cut out the card using some white cardstock paper, layered the designer paper, then Marci.  This card was so much fun to make.  I also used Glimmer Mist to change the color of my flowers from white to blue and pink.  If you have any questions or comments please let me know.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!!
