3D Shabby Chic Birdcage

Hello everyone!!  This project was created by using the Tim Holtz caged bird die.  I used the French Country Stack paper collection by DCWV to create this shabby chic birdcage.  I cut the die out 4 times to make the sides of the birdcage.  Next I made the bottom and adhered the flowers, pearls, dove and lace to the top of the box.  I then tied the top together and used some pretty pink satin ribbon to tie a bow.  I added trim to the bottom of the cage and embellished the rest of the cage with the Martha Stewart butterfly punch and added I Am Roses flowers to the bottom of the cage.  I then added Snow Tex in different places on the cage and embellishments to give them some dimension.  I also added pink pearls as feet to the bottom of the cage to make it taller when it is being displayed.  I hope you like my project and if you have any questions please let me know.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!!

Wedding Shabby Chic Camera and Matching Suitcase

Hello everyone!!  I have another project I would like to share with you.  This is for sale at my etsy shop if you are interested.  Hurry I don't think it will last!!  Both are boxes and small gifts can be added inside.  The camera measures approx 5 x 4 and the suitcase approx 4 x 3.  Both are made from strong cardstock so they are real sturdy.  I have made both of these before and they are similar, just with different paper and embellishments.  If you have any questions let me know and check out my etsy store for more details.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!!!

Shabby Chic Camera

Hi everyone!!  I have a new project I would like to share with you.  This project was kind of hard and took some time to create.  I had fun making it though and I hope you like it.  I first started off making a 5 x 4 box. I then made the flash, lens, and box on front of the camera.  It was challenging but fun!!  I used the French Country Stack by DCWV to create this project.  The embellishments I used were purchased from Walmart, Michael's, and I Am Roses.  I am not sure what I plan to use this for.  Maybe a mini album or I might just embellish and add a picture to the inside.  If you have any questions let me know and I will try to answer them.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!!

Altered Trunk

Hello everyone!!  I have a wooden trunk that I purchased at Michael's that I would like to share with you.  The trunk was a unfinished wooden trunk when purchased with no paint or paper adhered to it.  I first painted it all over with Burnt Umber (which is a dark brown color) acrylic paint.  I then added the lace trims to the sides of the trunk.  I purchased the lace trims at Walmart.  I added the flowers next, some of which are I Am Roses, some are cut from my cricut machine using the Flower Shoppe cartridge, and some are flower punches from my EK Success punch.  I then added a Recollection butterfly and a Michael's dollar bin frame.  I painted the frame with vintage white, then used rubbed Rub N Buff across it with my finger, then added Distress Ink Victorian Velvet to give it a light pink look.  I added I Am Roses to the top of it and cut out a fairy from the Fairy Belle paper collection by Prima.  I then cut out the word Create from the Sophisticated cricut cartridge using the French Country Stack by DCWV.  I also added a butterfly from the Martha Stewart butterfly punch using the same paper collection and added  two flat back pearls to the body of the butterfly.  On the front of the trunk I added more I Am Roses and  wheat sprays from the Etsy shop Discount Crafts 1 to the latch.  More I Am Roses were added to the trim on the front and back of the trunk.  I plan to use the trunk to store all of my homemade cards as I have quite a few of them.  I hope you enjoy this project as much as I enjoyed altering it.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!!

Altered Mussie Tussie

Hi everyone!!  I altered a mussie tussie using the Teresa Collins Timeless paper collection.  I downloaded a template from the internet, (Googled cone template) printed it out on regular paper, then traced it onto the paper collection and cut it out.  Jo (YouTube name:  Paper Drama) has a tutorial on the flower used on the front of the mussie tussie.  I added lace, pink satin ribbon, pink bead trim, pink flower trim, and I Am Roses flowers for embellishments.  I also used an organza bag for a special treat.  These adorable little gift cones can be used for gifts, treats, jewelry or anything for that special friend.  They can be displayed by hanging on a door knob on laying on a desk or table.
