Another Chalkboard Stand

Hi Everyone!! I'd like to share another chalkboard stand I created using the Bonjour paper collection by Kaiser Craft.  I first started off by using chipboard to the back to give it some stability, then added pink cardstock (the pastel collection) from DCWV.  I then added the design paper to the top of that.  I created an awning for a different look, then fussy cut a couple of images from the paper collection, then added I Am Roses flowers to the bottom left side.  I sprayed the Gardenia with Iridescent Gold glimmer mist to give it a pretty golden highlight without changing the color, then sprayed the smaller bluish green rose with perfect pearls Mint for a hint of color.  I also added Martha Stewart leaf punch (I love this stamp) to the bottom and added more flowers at the top from an Ek Success punch.  Trim was added at the bottom purchased from Hobby Lobby for the finishing touch.  The chalkboard that was used was from the All Chalked Up Neutral pack from DCWV, that was purchased at Joann's.  I plan on using this project in my kitchen to plan out meals for the each week.  Hope you enjoyed this project and if you have any questions just let me know!!  Thanks for looking!

Altered Picture Frame

Hi everyone!!  I have an altered picture frame I would like to share with you.  I purchased the picture frame at Walmart for a couple of dollars.  I then added Marci Kitty Kat from La La Land Crafts and colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers, I added pink rose trim to the bottom of the frame that I purchased at Walmart, punched out a few flowers in different sizes with an EK Success punch, bunched out Martha Stewart butterflies, and added stickles to various parts of the project.  I will later add a picture of my dog and I.  I hope you enjoyed this project and if you have any questions let me know.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!!  Happy Memorial Day to everyone, if I don't post anymore until after the weekend.

Mother's Day Gifts - Wallet Card & Treat Bag

Hi Everyone!!  I created a few more projects for Mother's Day.  First is the wallet card that Juliana inspired me to create.  She has a tutorial on making these.  If you are interested I'll post the link below.  Second, is the Treat Bag/Goodie Bag and it also has a tutorial that I will post the link for as well.  A video is included at the bottom if you are interested in watching.

The Wallet Card

For the wallet cards I started off with white card stock from Recollections, then layered the paper collection My Favorite Things by Recollections on the blue and green cards.  On the green card, I used the Cheery Lynn Designs, Queen Ann's Lace border die as well as the olive branches die and a crystal spray from Michael's found in the wedding section and then tied a bow with lace from my stash.  The flowers that I used on all of the cards were from I Am Roses and some that I punched out.  All of the cards also have a beaded trim around the top of the card.  The blue wallet card has the Cheery Lynn Design Fanciful Flourish, Martha Stewart leaf punch and border punch.  A bow is tied with white satin ribbon.  The black and cream card is created using cream card stock on the bottom then layering the Fashionista paper collection by Graphic 45 on top.  The Martha Stewart border punch and Fanciful Flourish is used on this card as well.  A bow is created using cream satin ribbon.  All of the wallet cards are basically the same with the exception of the black and cream card, which is larger.  On the inside, all 3 cards have pockets to add gift cards, a small note or card, or a sentiment of your choice.  I also used digi images from a Etsy seller for the tags and will post the link to her store below also.

I purchased the Romantic Ephemera Collage, Shabby Chic Tag Collage and Journaling Tags Collage

Goodie Bag/Treat Bag

Jo from Paper Drama (youtube) inspired me to created these.  They were super easy to make!!  The goodie bags were created using the following paper collections:  Fairy Belle by Prima, La Creme' by DCWV.  I started off with a 4 x 6 piece of designer paper.  I won't go into detail on how to make these as I will post the link to the tutorial.  I adhered trims and laces to the bottom of the bags, used the Martha Stewart leaf punch for the leaves, used the flower punch from EK Sucess for the flowers and one small I Am Roses flower on each project, incorporated black and pink satin ribbon at the top of the bags.  On the pink bag I used a chipboard die that I purchased with the designer paper to adhere Happy Mother Day, and created the Happy Mother's Day on my computer on the black and cream bag.  Each bag was topped off with beaded trim.  I also used white paint on the pink flower and green leaves.   I used gold metallic ink on the black rose and black leaves.  Sequin trim was also added along the black lace at the bottom of the bag and a black bow tie from a Martha Stewart punch was added at the top of the bag.  I hope you like these projects as they were so much fun to make!!  Hope you make some as well.  They would make great little gifts for that special someone anytime of the year.  If you have any questions please let me know.  Thanks for looking!!

Hi Everyone!!  I created a 12 x 12 layout of my husband and I.  I have never created a layout before, but really enjoyed it.  Looking forward to making more of them lol!!  I used "The French Country Stack" by DCWV paper collection.  The wooden shadow box was painted with Martha Stewart pearl paint, Mint Chip, and then a crackle medium was applied, next Folk Art Vintage White was painted over that.  Also Rub N Buff and Frayed Burlap distress ink was applied at various places to give it that vintage look.  The following products were used to create the layout:

Martha Stewart leaf, bow tie and butterfly punch
Recollections resin corner and window decoration
Laces by Hobby Lobby
Mini Pennant Die (Banner) by MFT die-namics
I Am Roses Gardenia and Yellow Rose Buds

Criss Cross Card

Hi Everyone!! I have another project to share!!  I have been on a roll with card making, so why not make another one?  Lol!!  This card is called a criss cross card.  The base of the card is made with from vellum and layered with the Fairy Belle paper collection from Prima.  I thought it turned out so cute!!  I embellished it with the following items:  I Am Roses flowers, lace from Hobby Lobby, EK Sucess punch (for the pink rose on the tag), some flowers from the wedding section at Michaels, and the tag was made from white and pink cardstock, the Pastel collection from Recollections.  I painted the pink roses on the tag with white acrylic paint to soften the color of pink.  It looks so pretty!!  I reminds me of snow laying on each petal.  The paint also gave it a little dimension as well.  If you have any questions please let me know and have a great day!!  Thanks for looking!!
