Vintage Stacked Books

Hi Everyone!!  I have another project I would like to share with you!!  My inspiration came from Miranda and Annie (I will put their links to YouTube at the bottom).  Go by and show them some love!!  Annie has a tutorial on how to make the books, so if you are interested in making some go by her channel and check it out!!  I used the The Timeless Type Stack by DCWV design papers to create these vintage looking books.  They measure approx. 5 1/2 x 3 1/2.  They are beautifully decorated with I Am Roses flowers, metal embellishments, pearls from Natalia's store (I'll put the link to her store below too), Prima resin, cream seam binding, and lace trims.  I distressed all of the edges with Walnut distress inks.  If you have any questions just let me know.  Thanks for looking!!

Gorjuss Girl Tag - Tag Challenge at JBLdyScrapper48 (YouTube Channel)

Hello everyone!!  Karen over at JBLdyScrapper48 (YouTube Channel) is having a tag challenge.  This is the first tag challenge I have been in and thought it would be a lot of fun.  Come and play along with us if you will!!  I created this 3 x 5 1/4 tag by first using medium weight chipboard, then layering white cardstock by Recollections, then stamping with Tim Holtz script stamp with pink embossing powder.  I used Tim Holtz distressed stains, Victorian Velvet and Peeled Paint in various places on the tag.  I then adhered the lace across the bottom, added I Am Roses flowers and a pink satin bow with a small rose.  I also stickled all of the flowers to give them a pretty sparkle.  I stamped the image of the Gorjuss Girl with Tuxedo Black ink by Memento.  I then adhered the fanciful Flourish by Cheery Lynn Designs.   I added the Gorjuss Girl on top of the flourish.  I colored her skin, hair, socks, and shoes with my Spectrum Noir markers and added glitter with the At You Spica marker in Blossom (pink) to the heart in her hair.  The sentiment came from the Lil Primrose paper stack.  I also added stickles, I Am Roses, and bling to the sentiment.  The butterfly is from the Martha Stewart punch.  I distressed it with the Victorian Velvet inks and added two pearls for the body of the butterfly.  The tag was topped off with white lace and a pink satin bow.  Thanks for looking and if you have any questions please let me know.  Video coming shortly!!  The link to the tag challenge is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqshmavAe4E&feature=plcp
